30th September 2001 - 10:37pm |
The evening started off with a historical review from Ross Duker (one of the club's founding members). Ross had contacted many of the club's past presidents and read out messages to the club from those that could not be present on the night.
The club's other founding member, Ken Harvey, gave a toast to the club's past and to the future.
After two short assignments, a mammoth Table Topics session (19 questions!) and the final evaluations and closing remarks, the meeting was closed and most of those present went to enjoy the food and champagne that had been prepared.
The raffle's main prize (a Sony Playstation) was won by Ross Jamieson.
